  1. Shinto: shinto is the indigenous religon of japan, focusing on rituals, practices, and the reverence of nature, spirits, and ancestors. Buddhism: buddhism was introduced to japan from china and korea arounds the 6th century and has become a major religion in the country. Over time, it became more similair with Shinto beliefs and practices. It focus on enlightenment, the eightfold path, schools of buddhism, belief in karma and rebirth, temples and rituals.
