Animism:
Supernatural explanation - people have souls which evil spirits can take control of which can cause madness
Humorism:
Somatogenic explanation - four humous to be balanced in order to have good wellbeing
Animalism:
somatogenic explanation - mental health caused by inability to reason and to restore reason through fear such as whipping, making them bleed and locking them up
