Define Gender Bias
Research that does not justifiably represent the experience and behaviour of men or women
Define Culture Bias
Refers to tendency to ignore cultural differences and view all phenomena through the lens of ones own culture
Define Ethnocentrism
Judging others cultures by the standards and values of ones own culture.
In its extreme, viewing ones own culture as superior, which may lead to prejudice against other cultures
Define Cultural Relativism
The idea that norms and values as well as ethics and moral standards can only be meaningful and understood within specific cultural contexts.
