Software may not exactly fit a user’s needs
Software companies may not maintain older software after warranties expire
Causes of digital divide (3 marks)
Some people don’t have enough money to buy new expensive devices
Urban areas are likely to have greater network coverage than rural areas
Lack of knowledge on how to use internet and technology
Cons of censorship (3 marks)
Some governments censor political websites which oppose their own government.
Some governments censor communications to other countries.
These are generally considered negative consequences of censorship because they limit people’s freedom.

Some countries use censorship to keep people safe online, or to block illegal content.
