The idea of isolationism was to remain seprate from other countries affairs. USA followed this policy due to the effect the horror of the war had on them

What are the impacts of isolationism?
A
Isolationism had a huge impact on international relations throughout the 1920s and 1930s.
As a result they didn’t join the LON and didn’t challenge Hitler in the early years of the road to war.
