Difference between Zakat and Khums
Zakat is purifying money, give 2.5% of savings to charity
Khums is for Shias’ only. 20% of their annual excess income
What is Sawm
Fasting, makes us feel fortunate to have food
What is Hajj
Pilgrimage to Makkah, visit Allah’s house
Greater Jihad
Struggle living as a Muslim

Fighting in order to protect Islam

- Fasting during Ramadhan, before Eid
- Makes you grateful that you have food unlike some people

- Pilgrimage, to Makkah, holiest Islam site
- Makkah is birth place of Muhammed and Allah’s house
- Brings Muslims together to pray
