Liturgical Worship
Prayer thats has a set pattern. Gives a sense of unity.
Non Liturgical Worship
Prayer that doesnt follow a set pattens. It allows people to express their love to god independently.
Informal Worship
Prayer that can be peformed anywhere. Early christians prayed like this
Private Worship
Worship done independently, usually at home. Allows you to have a 1 to 1 with god
Infant Baptism
Baptised when your were given Birth too. Removes “Original Sin”, parents choice.
Believers Baptism
Baptised at any point of your life, your choice whether to be Christian or not.
Easter
- Ressurection of Jesus
- Celebrated throughout a whole week
- Hold Crosses, have bread/wine pray
Christmas
- Birth of Jesus
- Traditions similiar to events during Jesus’s birth
- Midnight Mass, gift giving, Nativity
Why is Easter more Important than Christmas
Jesus sacrificed himself to atone for mankinds “Original Sin”.
Explain “Bright, peace”. [Bible]
Jesus being the lantern, guiding people on the right path to peace.

Holy journey to a location
Holy Land
- Holiest place for Jews, confirms their beliefs
- Travel there to strengthen relationship with God
Lourdes
- Christian Pilgrimage
- Healing water, curing 67 people
- Traven there to strengthen relationship with God
Makkah
- Holiest place for Muslims
- Birth place of Prophet Muhammed and location of Allah’s house
- Walk between Mountain Safa and Marwa
How Church helps the community
- Street pastors, helping those at night
- Food banks and charity organizations (CAFOD/Christian Aid)
- Give money to the Church
