Islamic law based on the teachings of the qur’an

Believing or stating that something is equal to Allah
What is Zulm?
Crimes such as theft, murder and adultery
What is hudood?
Meaning ‘boundaries’. This is the name given to punishments for crimes.
What is equality?
That we should all be treated as equals as Allah’s creations
What does the word reform mean?
Changing a criminal into a member of society again
What is deterrence?
The aim of preventing future crimes
What is retribution?
The aim of giving justice to the victim by punishing the criminal
What is protecting?
Protecting society from criminals
