Termination through the removal of an egg or foetus

A marriage terminated by the church because it is not valid

Same sex relationship with a registry office ceremony
What is commitment?
A bond between a couple
What is divorce?
The legal ending of a marriage
What is pre marital sex?
Having a sexual relationship before marriage
What is promiscuity?
Having many sexual partners without commitment
What is re - marriage
Marrying again after a divorce, annulment of widowhood
What is sacrament?
A special action bringing you closer to god
What are vows?
Sacred promises, made between a couple, under the eyes of God during the marriage ceremony
What are the traditional roles of woman in Christianity?
That they should have children and look after them at home. Also to ensure they are brought up in a good Christian home. The woman should submit to her husband as she submits to God
What are the traditional roles of men in Christianity?
To provide for their families and bring in a good wage. Also to take lead in a public church
What are Roman Catholic views on divorce?
Divorce is totally unacceptable
Instead of a divorce, what do Roman Catholics believe in and when are the circumstances?
An annulment
Only granted when:
One partner does not want to have children
One partner is at physical risk
One partner is proven to be mentally unstable
When they have not had sex within the marriage
