Muslims are against crime because criminal behaviour is breaking the law of God
“ God orders justice..doing good.. he forbids what is shameful” Surah
Why do Muslims believe it is important to individually work against crime?
Muslims believe the Ummah is important and all Muslims have a duty of care for others.
Why is it bad to be involved in crime?
Being involved in crime distracts them from what is important in life= worshipping Allah.
What is the belief about their time?
Muslims believe that their time is put to better use through living their life as Allah intended.
What is the example Muslims should follow by Muhammad?
They want to follow the example of Muhammad who taught about the importance of helping others.
LWhen Allah judges them on DOJ Muslims believe their actions will be taken into account as to whether they lived their life as Allah wanted them to

Why is it good to tackle the causes of crime?
It may prevent others from getting into situations associated with crime.
What are they taught about humans?
Humans were created by Allah as equals and all deserve equal treatment.
Muslims try to remove the causes of crime
Poverty
Upbringing
Drugs and alcohol
Low self esteem
How does Muslims deal with poverty?
-ban the use of interest
-encouraging Muslims to share wealth
-banning gambling which can drive into poverty
-zakah help Muslims in UK
-supporting charities = M. aid and Islamic Relief.
Upbringing
Children a gift from God. On last day= Muslim parents will be judged on how well they brought up their children.Expected to teach their children the different between right and wrong. Introduce them to the faith observing Salah and Ramadan @ home.
Drugs and alcohol
It should not be a problem since they are prohibited. Quran says intoxicates used by Satan try to keep people from God. Must also have nothing to do with the production or sale of alcohol.
Low self esteem
Muslim have no problem with self esteem the Khalkha of god are given the task of looking after world. However be aware the way you do this is being monitored, don’t do it well and will be punished on DOJ never have too high opinion of yourself.

Organisation that provides support for Muslim prisoners 6 month before and after their release from prision.
