Q

Explain two reasons why justice is important for Muslims ( 4 marks )

A

One reason why justice is important is because Allah commands Muslims to be just. This is important because Allah is the source of all goodness for Muslims so they will always follow His commands.
Another reason justice is important is that they believe it will help them get to Jannah (heaven). This is important because they believe Jannah is an eternal paradise so they will want to go there and avoid punishment in Jahannam.

Q

Explain two Muslim responses to the causes of crime / explain two ways that Muslims try to prevent crime

A

One Muslim response to the causes of crime is giving to charity. This is because financial instability and poverty can tempt people to commit crimes, so by supporting others this can reduce temptation. Another Muslim response to the cause of crime is by providing family counselling. This is because certain upbringing can cause children to commit crimes, so by ensuring that parents can raise their kids well, this teaches the kids good respect and morals.

Q

Explain two Islamic beliefs about forgiveness ( 4 marks )

A

One Islam belief about forgiveness is that they should always treat other people the same way, even if those people would not do the same for them. This means that Muslims should do good deeds and be friendly, which will allow them to go to Jannah. Another Islamic belief about forgiveness is that Allah will be forgiving and merciful towards you in death if you are forgiving in life. This means that if Muslims are forgiving in life, God will judge them mercifully in death, allowing them to go Jannah.
