Sacred text and tradition of Islam
Quran is sacred text. Passed to Muhammad from Allah. Has 114 chapters called suras. Faithful Muslims read it everyday. They believe it’s the word of God and it offers them guidance
Core beliefs and right judgment
Final judgment: good go to paradise, bad are excluded from presence of God
Allah: their God. Have 99 beautiful names which describe his qualities.
No one has a future without Allah: allah created everyone and people have a hopeless future without him, they depend on him completely
Angels: good and bad Angel on each shoulder, records deeds which are passed on at final judgment
Sacred books : Quran is sacred book. Allah communicated with people through books in the past
Prophets : sent to guide people in how to obey and worship God. Allan has chosen spokesmen and sends them everywhere
