What is the sunnah and why is it important to muslims?
The sunnah is the practice and example of the prophet Muhammad is the second source of inspiration and instruction for Muslims.
This is important to Muslims because it give them a source to turn to and shows how to put the practices of the Quran into everyday situations

Ahahahah ' there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah' Seal of profits Peace be upon him after his name He was the ideal man Example of how to live
What is the qu’ran and how important is it to Muslims ?
The Quran is the Islamic holy book , Muslims believe that the words of the qur’an come from Allah and were passed to humanity through Muhammad
Every word and letter is sacred to Muslims
The Quran is the last revelation of allah’s truth to human beings
Principal source of every Muslims faith and practice
What is the Hadith and why is it important to Muslims?
The Hadith is a collection of reports of what Muhammad said did or approved in particular situations , most Muslims accept the six books of Hadith as being the most trustworthy
In the Hadith Muhammad shows how to put practices of the Quran into everyday situations
What is shariah and why is it important to Muslims?
Shariah is the Islamic law and is based on the Quran and sunnah
the shariah describes what is ; Obligatory Permitted Forbidden In Islam
This is important because it shows Muslims how to live their life and creates their moral compass
What does it mean if there is only on god??
He alone is the creator of all that exists but was not himself created
He is all powerful and in control of the universe
He is almighty and omnipotent
He is transcendent ; outside and beyond creation and outside and beyond time
He is eternal and infinite and mysterious
God is immanent ; closer to and knows all creatures than they know themselves
What is predestination and why is it important? ( tawhid)
Predestination is the belief that God controls our destinies
God controls our destinies as he is all powerful . Nothing will happen unless it is the will of Allah
This does not mean that humans should sit back and do nothing but that they should work with God even though God has foreknowledge of what choices that human will make he does not make it for them which allows Muslims to obtain free will
What does Islam teach about human beings?
We are all allah’s representatives ( tawhid)
All descent from Adam and Eve who were created by God
Highest physical creations of God
We all have a distinct soul
Because we have a conscious soul we can make moral decisions we can be held responsible for
What do Muslims believe about death
Allah has full control over what happens
Life after death
Two parts to life; short time on earth and the eternal life that follows
Day of judgement ; Angels of death take souls to a state of waiting between the moment of death and the day
Final day - one day ( that Allah decides upon ) all life on Earth will come to an end and Allah will destroy everything and everyone will be raised from the dead and face judgement from Allah
What do Muslims believe about Angels?
Supernatural beings created from light
Messengers of God
Servants of Allah
Surround us at all time and will present a full report on U.S. after death

What is submission and why is it important to Muslims
submission is a Muslim practice that is led by the belief that hey should live life in complete submission to God
Muslims view submission as the purpose of life because if the tawhid
Submission to God is active and not passive
Submission is seen as a complete way of life from birth to life after death
There are three levels of submission
- action ( imam)
- belief (Amal)
- awareness ( ihsan)
What is taqwa?
Taqwa is the best way to relate to God as manifested in action and behaviour
It is the stage when one is fully aware of Allah and mindful of him
What is ihsan?
Ihsan is the awareness of Allah
Muslims must live with God at the forefront of their minds
Ihsan is acting all the time with regards to everything as if we were in front of God and involves commitment, application and acceptance
What is sabr ??
Sabr is the attitude of determination to live as Allah wishes for us to and to have patience in the face of suffering
