What is Revelation to the Prophet in Islam
A
- Qur’an summarises the points that a Muslim must accept as a matter of faith.
- God has always chosen individuals to communicate with. He then ‘sends’ these prophets to a specific community to convey His words and will.

- Struggle to live out the Muslim faith well
- Building a good society

What are the Five Pillars in Islam
A
- Shahadah; Muslim profession to faith (no one deserves worship but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God).
- Salat; performing ritual prayers in the proper way five times each day.
- Zakat; paying an alms (or charity) tax to benefit the poor and the needy.
- Sawm; fasting during the month of Ramadan.
- Hajj; pilgrimage to Mecca.

What is Submission to the will of Allah in Islam
A
- Muslims believe that there is only one God, meaning of Islam is to live in ‘submission to the will of Allah’ (simple meaning or definition of Islam). In practice, this means that a Muslim must try to live their daily lives by showing faith in Allah.

What is Predestination in Islam
A
- Allah has decided everything that will happen in the world and in people’s lives, this is called predestination.
- Most Muslims believe that humans cannot choose to do something if Allah has not already chosen that path for them.
