- strong inheritance link
- parenting, eduction, social levels should be considered/

Q
what is the Adoption Study? what were the results?
A
- genetic vs environmental on cognitive development
- the test was conducted over 20 years
- these test were measured general cognitive ability, verbal ability, spatial ability, processing speed, and recognition of memory.
- adoptive children resembled their adoptive parents slightly in childhood
- during childhood they became more like their biological parents
- this level became consistent with the matched non-adoptive offspring
