Ipratropium: Dosage

A

Adult:
2-3 puffs via MDI 3-4 times daily; max of 12 puffs/day
500mcg NEB q 6-8hrs (if mixed with albuterol use w/in 1hr)
Pedi:
< 12y/o 1-2 puffs via MID 3-4 times daily; max 8 puffs/day
250mcg NEB q 6-8hrs (if mixed with albuterol use w/in 1hr)
