  1. Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria: Acquired, life-threatening disease of blood.
  2. Hemolytic anemia, thrombosis, & impaired BM function
  3. Typically young adults with median age of 35-40 years.
  4. Aplastic anemia in 20-30% of PNH patients.
  5. 10 years after Dx.
  6. Genetic mutation in PIG-A in BM stem cell.
  7. Flow cytometry is gold standard.
