Q

How do you carry out the experiment

A
  1. Boil water in a kettle and pour water into a sealed container(beaker and lid)
  2. Measure the initial mass of the water and record the starting temperature of the water
  3. Seal the container and leave it for 5 minutes. Measure the time on a stopwatch.
  4. Remove the lid and measure the final temperature of the water
  5. Repeat the experiment but each time, wrap a different material around the container once sealed, making sure that the mass is the same mass as the first try and the temperature is the same
