An energy store is a place where an object keeps the energy that has been transferred to itself.

Kinetic energy store function
Anything to do with movement/motion

Objects that have been stretched and compressed

When two opposite charges attract with electrostatic forces of attraction.

When two opposite poles attract or repel each other

When atomic nuclei have energy that can be released in nuclear reactions
