What is science?
Science is studying God’s world.
What is a scientist?
A scientist is a person whose job it is to study God’s world.
How do we use the scientific method?
First we ask a question about the world and then we do a science experiment to learn the answer.
What is an experiment?
A special test for answering questions about God’s world.
What is an observation?
Something we notice about God’s world using our five senses (looking, listening, touching, tasting, and smelling)
What is a hypothesis?
A guess we make after doing a science experiment.
What is a theory?
A hypothesis that appears to be true every time we test it.
What is a generalization?
What we say about something because it’s true every time we notice it.
What is a pendulum?
Something that hangs so it can swing back and forth.
