Its body is not organized around a center. Most simple animals ex. sponge
Sponges
sponges, the members of the pylum porifefa, are a basal metazoa clade as a sister of the Diploblasts.
cnidarians
cnidarians are more complex than sponges. Cnidarians have complex tissues and a gut for digesting food.
Flatworms
All flatworms have bilateral symmetry. Many flatworms also have a clearly denfined head and two large eyesspots.
roundworms
roundworms have bodies that are long, slim and round like spaghetti like other worms they have bilateral symmetry.
Mollusks
snails,slugs,clams,oysters,squids, and octopuses are all molusks most of these animals live in the ocean but some live in fresh water and some live on land.
open circulatory system
a circulatory system in which the circulatory fluid is not comtained entirely within vessels.
closed circulatory system
a circulatory system in which the heart circulates blood through a network of blood vessels that form a closed loop.

annelid worms are often called segmented worms because their bodies have segments.

a system of canals filled with a watery fluid that circulates throughout the body of an echinoderm.
