They were peaceful people, who felt their family was most important. They were focused on culture. Food was community property and everyone helped everyone.
What was their language?
Their language was Inuktitut.
How big was their family structure?

They believed ALL things had a spirit. When anything died, they believed it lived on in the spiritual world.
Who would communicate with spirits?
Shamans or Angakoks could.
How?
By doing charms and dances

One-sided dum made of caribou skin, used in ceremonies.

What did they do during the summer?
They lived in smaller family groups while they hunted and fished.
What did they hunt?
Caribou, seals, and walrus.
Where would they live?
In tents.
Transportation?
Walking, kayaks and umiaks.
What did they do in winter?
They lived in settlements of up to 100 people. They would ice fish or hunt beavers.
What would they live in?
Igloos or driftwood-covered turf homes.
