  1. illusions - can be wrong as seeing what isn’t there
  2. blindsight and hemispatial neglect - either can’t see or not paying attenion to one visual field even though it is there and the person is not blind (can see if looking at sight differently)

deciding which woman more attractive

some ppts would describe why they chose that woman when given the wrong face that they had decided was less attractive

A

in Lovebridge experiment, men mistook feelings of nervousness and excitment as finding the female attractive
- always conscious of mental state but may misinterpret what we are feeling

hallucinations and delusions are an incorrect interpretation of mental state so can be wrong about it

A

certain habits

deciding whther to help someone depedning on how many people in the room but denying this was a factor in the decision

A

choosing tights based off ‘quality’
overwhelming majority chose tights on the right despite being the same quality
denied it had anything to do with right hand (wrong)

sometimes conscious as try and come up with reasons for making decision but may be wrong
