Judge me, O God, and discern my cause from a nation unholy; from the unjust and deceitful man deliver me

Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo mea: quare me repulisti, et quare tristis incedo, dum affligit me inimicus?

For You, O God, are my strength. Why have You cast me off, and why do I go forth sadly while the enemy afflicts me?

Emitte lucem tuam, et veritatem tuam: ipsa me deduxerunt, et adduxerunt in montem sanctam tuum et in tabernacula tua.

Answer 5

Send out Your light and Your truth, that they may lead me and bring me to Your holy mountain and to Your tabernacles.

Confiteor tibi in cithara, Deus, Deus meus: quare tristis es, anima mea, et quare conturbas me?

I will confess you on the harp, O God my God. Why are you sad, my soul, and why do you trouble me?

Spera in Deo, quoniam adhuc confitebor illi: salutare vultus mei, et Deus meus.

Trust in God; for still shall I praise Him: the help of my countenance and my God.
