Lymphatic capillary.

* Located in the mediastinum
* Pinkish-grey in childhood

Mechanical filtration
Biological filtration

What are the three tonsils called?
Pharyngeal tonsils
Palatine tonsil
Lingual tonsil
What am I?
Located in upper left quadrant of the abdomen.
Surrounded by a fibrous capsule.
Functions in defence, tissue repair, haematopoiesis,
blood reservoir, RBC and platelet destruction.
