- Autonomy- refers to the principle that individuals have the right to make their own decisions about their healthcare, based on their own values and preferences.
* detemining individual’s capacity to make their own decisions - Beneficence- principle of doing good and promoting the well-being of patients.
* to act in the best intrests of patients and to provide care that maximizes overall benefit. - Non-maleficence- principle of doing no harm.
