Look at sodium amount in bag, (dont want to give too much saline- hypernatraemic)

Bags that are red = have potassium!
important to give in patients requiring extra potassium:
- ORAL replacement preferred over IV
- Consider replacing Mg concurrently
- When K+ <3.0 deficitin order of 100s of mmol (might need quite alot of potassium replacement)
- Preferred pre mixed vs making the concentration yourself
- Cardiac monitoring rquired in patient with K+ <3.0 (hypokalaemic) —> (K+ replacement >10mmol/hour) !
