neurological interest tin brain pathology and psychological interest in higher cognitive and emotional functioning.

- individuals with mental diseases (eg depression, schizophrenia
- individuals with neurodegenerative disorders / Dementias (eg. Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Pick’s disease)
- individuals with infectious and inflammatory brain disorders (eg. AIDS)
- individuals with developmental disorders (eg. attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, Tourette’s syndrome, learning disabilities)
- individuals with substance use disorders (eg. alcoholism)
- individuals following toxic or hazardous exposures (eg. radioactive radiation)
