The Bus Boycott Started with Claudette Colvin, a fifteen year old black girl who refused to give up her seat for a white women on a bus in Montgomery.

Jim Crow Laws allowed segregation between black and white people. This then resulted in many Black Civil Rights groups to form.

The Mia was formed to help for civil of african americans and specifically for desgregation of buses in Montgomery.
