Q

Are viruses a living thing? Use CER to support your answer.

A

virus can not be classified as a living thing. A virus doesn’t qualify for most of the important things that a living thing needs to be considered living. Such as, energy sources, A virus such as influenza has no source of energy as shown to us in the data table. Living things need to have an energy source to be considered living, so that being said, influenza couldn’t be a living thing. These reasoning support my claim of why a virus can not be classified as a living thing.
