Describe lobner price
- annual turing test competition introduced by hugh loebner in 1991.
In this competition the machine has to have a conversation with the each of the four judges for 25 minutes. - a chatbot named Eugene goostman was the first want to pass the turing test in 2014.
Turing test
- this was proposed in a paper by a mathematician computing pioneer Alan Turing in 1950.
- it is a simple method of determining whether a machine can demonstrate human intelligence.
- a machine can encase in a conversation with a human without it being detected as a machine then it has demonstrated human intelligence.
- the project is considered a success if more than 30% of the judges after 5 minutes of conversation conclude that the computer is a human.
Examples of data science
Price comparison websites which is used to compare the price of a product at one place from multiple vendors around the world. Examples include shopzilla, price grabber, price runner, etc. These type of websites are driven by lots and lots of data.
Examples of computer vision
- self driving or automatic cars detect obstacles through a live scan and analyzes its surroundings on whether to decide to keep running or to stop.
- facelock on smartphones. The front camera detects and capture still features of the face during initiation. Next time onwards , whenever the features match the phone is unlocked.
Examples of NLP
- email filters. One of the basic and initial application of NLP is email filters which started out with spam detection by uncovering the certain words and phrases that signal a spam message.
- smart assistance like Siri and Alexa can recognize patterns in speech and infer the meaning and provide us with a useful response.
What are data science.
Data science is a domain of AI which deals with data systems and process in which the system collects innumerous data and maintains and derives sense out of it.
Define computer vision.
The domain of AI which depicts the capability of the machine to get visual digital data and afterwards predict the decisions about it.
Steps involved in computer vision
Image acquiring, screening, analyzing, identifying and extracting of data odd information.
Define NLP.
NLP is a domain of AI which deals with the interaction between human and machines using natural language. The NLP attempts to extract information from the spoken and written words using algorithm.
Define AI.
AI is the ability of a computer to mimic human intelligence. The the machines enabled by AI think algorithmically and execute what they have been asked for intelligently.
Define ML.
It is a subset of AI which enables machines to improve at tasks with experience. The intention of ML is to enable machines to learn by themselves using provided data and make accurate predictions or decisions.
Define DL.
It enables the software to train itself and to perform tasks with vast amount of data. The machine is intelligent enough to develop algorithms for themselves.
