INTRO Flashcards
Intelligence is Broadly classified on following parameters:
Learning from experience Identifying problems Problem solving Ability to make accurate decisions Ability to prove outcomes Ability to think logically Ability to learn and improve
Define intelligence
According to researchers, intelligence is the ‘ability to perceive or infer information, and to retain it as
knowledge to be applied towards adaptive behaviours within an environment or context.’
Types of intelligence
Mathematical Logic Intelligence
Musical Intelligence
Linguistic Intelligence
Intrapersonal Intelligence
Interpersonal Intelligence
Naturalist Intelligence
Spatial Visual Intelligence
Kinaesthetic Intelligence
Existential Intelligence
What is Mathematical Logical Reasoning
.A person’s ability to regulate, measure, and understand numerical
symbols, abstraction and logic.
What is Linguistic
Intelligence
. Language processing skills both in terms of understanding or
Intelligence
implementation in writing or verbally.
Spatial Visual
Intelligence
.It is defined as the ability to perceive the visual world and the
relationship of one object to another.
Intelligence
Kineasthetic
Intelligence
.Ability that is related to how a person uses his limbs in a skilled
man.
Musical
. As the name suggests, this intelligence is about a person’s ability to
recognize and create sounds, rhythms, and sound patterns.
Intrapersonal
. Describes how high the level of self-awareness someone has is.
Starting from realizing weakness, strength, to his own feelings.
Existential
. An additional category of intelligence relating to religious and
spiritual awareness.
Naturalist
Intelligence
An additional category of intelligence relating to the
ability to process information on the environment around us.
Interpersonal
. Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to communicate with others
intelligence
by understanding other people’s feelings & influence of the person.
Describe lobner price
- annual turing test competition introduced by hugh loebner in 1991.
In this competition the machine has to have a conversation with the each of the four judges for 25 minutes. - a chatbot named Eugene goostman was the first want to pass the turing test in 2014.
Turing test
- this was proposed in a paper by a mathematician computing pioneer Alan Turing in 1950.
- it is a simple method of determining whether a machine can demonstrate human intelligence.
- a machine can encase in a conversation with a human without it being detected as a machine then it has demonstrated human intelligence.
- the project is considered a success if more than 30% of the judges after 5 minutes of conversation conclude that the computer is a human.
Examples of data science
Price comparison websites which is used to compare the price of a product at one place from multiple vendors around the world. Examples include shopzilla, price grabber, price runner, etc. These type of websites are driven by lots and lots of data.
