Retrieval Cues - key challenge for me - getting it out of my long term memory - Rise & Shine Comcast presentation - definitely was inside my long term memory

Bullet Proofing - distractions - key benefit for me - improves my focus - purposeful exposure to distractions - tv news - recite silently while sound and image is on - reciting orally while sound and image is on - fascinating - also - reciting while music is playing on headphones

Recordings - regular and fast - faster us more interesting than I anticipated - 1.5x and 2.0x automatically improves active engagement - regular speed becomes passive after a while

Writing it out - at beginning and at end - muscle memory - old friend (school days) - more useful and professionally productive than I imagined at the time

Recordings - reciting in tandem with recording - weird but very cool - like singing along with a recorded song - both regular speed and faster speed

Speculation - reason why journey method has worked so well for me is the automatic grounding of “what’s next” in long term memory - makes retrieval easy for me - I need to integrate method of loci into my line for line memory process
