- due to viscid consistency of meconium –> obstruction

•obstruction in stomach and large bowel.

What is the pathophysiology of the GI issue caused by colonic adenocarcinoma?
A
- Forms in an annular ring like fashion around bowel wall.
- –> constriction –> ultimately obstruction.

What can be a presenting symptom of colonic adenocarcinoma?
A
- change in stool
- change in bowel habits

- abdo pain
- vomiting
