Advantages

  • Promotes equal opportunity
  • Justifies certain decisions
  • Objective (reduces interviewer bias)
  • Helpful when lots of applicants

Disadvantages

  • ‘Fakeable’
  • Literacy is a necessity
  • Relevancy of the norms
