A

Ask myself why is he unmotivated? One thing I have learned as a president is to have compassion and realize that everyone is going through stuff.

Q

It has been said that the Captain is the most influential rank in the fire service. Don’t agree with this statement why or why not?

A

I think it’s one of the most important roles for sure. Captain has the opportunity to steer the ship and carry out the mission and vision of the chiefs. With that being said the training chief has the most influential on his department guiding them to new things. Ultimately no matter what rank we have an influence on each other and the department
