Acture bacterial infection, inflammatory conditiond, trauma, maliganacy or chronic myeloid leukaemia

Neutropaenia may be due too?
A
Aplastic anaemia (bone marrow doesn’t produce enough cells), chemo/radiation, viral infection, widespread bacterial infection

What causes lymphocytosis? (increased lymphocytes)
A
Viral infections or lymphocyte leukaemia

What causes lymphopaenia?
A
Chemo, HIV, steroid medication, sepsis resulting in cortisol increase

What causes monocytosis?
A
Chronic inflammatory disease, parasitic infection, tuberculosis, chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia

What causes eosinophilia?
A
Atopy, Hodgkins lyphoma and parasitic infection
