How it the O2 mask properly checked

A

Press the RESET/TEST switch to check O2 is flowing. Turn SPKR; Mic/ Boom switch to Boom on; press TEST/RESET should hear speaker sound.

What is the difference between Normal and 100% selection on the O2 mask

A

Normal-dilutes O2 with ambient air. 100% delivers pure oxygen at a pressure dependent on cabin altitude.

What does the Emergency Flow Control Knob do?

A

Regulates demand (nomal) or constant flow (Emergency). Press to Test purges mask of smoke and fumes.

What are the differences for the selector on the Passenger O2 control panel located on the right side next to the co-pilot? Closed/ Normal/ Override

A

Closed: Stops O2 supply to the drop-down masks.
Normal: Masks will deploy when cabin altitude is greater than 14,500’ and O2 is supplied to the mask.
Override: Mask deploy and O2 is supplied.
