A
Large adenoids and mouth breathers - increased vertical facial dimensions
Incomplete eruption of the teeth
Trauma e.g. intruded teeth

What are interceptive methods for mild impaction of 6?
A
Place separators - leave for a week then remove - hoping for 1mm space to allow for eruption of 6. Leave 1-2 weeks. If doesn’t work - refer
Dis-impacting the 6 with bracket and traction
Can disc distal of the E for mild impaction
Extract E - last resort
