Q

How does Meltzoff and Moore’s experiment show interactional synchrony?

A
  1. they observed/filmed 2 week+ old infant’s response after an adult displayed 1 of 3 facial expressions or 1 of 3 gestures
  2. independent observers found an association between the expressions/gestures displayed by the adult and the actions of the infants
