Absolutely, utterly (formal): usually goes with adjectives of very extreme meaning, where we can’t use very.

We don’t say very exhausted, we say absolutely exhausted.

Ridiculous, stupid, impossible, wrong, alone, appalled, convinced, devastated, miserable.

The whole area was utterly devastated after the earthquake.

1) Bitterly = mean strong sadness, used more in writing.
2) deeply = words of feelings.
3) ridiculous = extreme unbelievable.
4) strongly = verbs of having an opinion.
