Define intellectual property.
Property of your mind or proprietary knowledge. Productive new ideas you create. Can be invention, trade mark, design brand or application of ideas.
Define APA and list two examples.
Stands for the American Psychological Association. Its a type of referencing that uses the author-date system. There are two types, in-text citations and reference list entries
Explain in-text citation
It has to be included each time you use the words or ideas of another author. Direct quotes must include page number.
For example:
- After a direct quote - (author name, year of publication, page number)
- Not a direct quote - (author name, year of publication)
