Integration Flashcards
What do you get when you integrate between two points
Area underneath the curve
If you want to find the area between a curve and the x-axis, you must?
Sketch the graph to see if there is any areas underneath the x-axis
What must you not forget to add with integration
the constant C
What always goes on top of the integral sign
The Bigger Value
What always goes on the bottom of the integral sign
The Smaller Value
When integrating between two values, what do you do with the two value
Sub values into integrated equation and take away the value of the smaller value from the bigger value and use Brackets.
How do you integrate
Add one to the power and divide by the new power and also add C.
What other rules may be useful to find area under a curve
Triangle , rectangle , trapezium, and square rules.
How do you find the area between two curves
Integrate and sub in both curves and then upper curve minus the lower curve.
