The multi Propose Computer (MPC) is located in the LH electronic racks.
The MPC is composed of two independent applications:
Flight data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) software part,
data Management Unit (DMU) software part.

FDAU software part of (MPC) functions:

• Acquire Aircraft parameters,
• Ensure the Aircraft Performances Monitoring (APM)
• Ensure data and parameters broadcast to avionics systems (CAC 1 and CAC2),
• Ensure the recognition of A/C configuration through pin-programming,
• Manage time, Flight Time, Flight Number and Data loading,
• Ensure the synchronization between SSFDR and SDSCVRn
• Format Aircraft parameters,
• Transmission of data to DMU.
