Q

Difference between NFRC and NC

A
  1. Role: The National Cabinet is a high-level forum of the Prime Minister and state and territory leaders, which was established in March 2020 to coordinate the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The NFRC, on the other hand, was a forum of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) established in 2006 to promote cooperative federalism and implement reforms in areas such as health, education, and the environment.
  2. Membership: The National Cabinet comprises the Prime Minister and the Premier or Chief Minister of each state and territory. The NFRC included the Prime Minister, state and territory Premiers and Chief Ministers, and also the President of the Australian Local Government Association.
