Public service broadcasting refers to TV programmes that are broadcast for the public benefit rather than for purely commercial purposes. These programmes include local news coverage, arts programmes and religious broadcasts.

A media conglomerate, media group or media institution is a company that owns large numbers of companies in various mass media such as television, radio, publishing, movies, and the Internet.

How the institution wants to be perceived by consumers. The components of the brand (name, logo, tone, tagline, typeface) are created to reflect the value the company is trying to bring to the market and to appeal to its customers.
