Describe the difference between conservation and preservation and give an example
Conservation is the sustainable use and management of the environment, while preservation is the complete protection of the environment.

He was a preservationist. He rejected anthropocentric ideas and was eco-centric

He was a conservationist. He didn’t want forests to be locked up and was concerned with wasting natural resources
