RAID
Redundant Array of Independent Disk
RAID 0
Striping without parity.
Requires at least two disks. Its principal advantage is to improve performance.
RAID 1
Mirroring
Mirroring requires two hard drives. Mirror disk is a duplicate of the data disk
RAID 5
Striping with Distributed Parity
Writes error checking information across all the disk in the array. Managed on two different disk , always.
RAID 1+0 (RAID 10)
RAID 1+0, combination of RAID 0 and RAID 1 both these configurations. 4 disks will be needed and an even number of disks.
RAID 0 is striping, with no parity. Provided high throughput, but leaves the volume at risk.
RAID 1 provides mirroring, the highest achievable disk fault tolerance.

USB Flash Drive and Data Rate
Non-Volatile memory -No power required to retain data.
USB Speed Standards
USB 2.0>480 Mbps>Hi Speed
USB 3.0>5Gbps>USB 3.0 or SuperSpeed
USB 3.1 Gen 1>5 Gbps>USB 3.1 Gen 1 or SuperSpeed
USB 3.1 Gen 2>10 Gbps>SuperSpeed+or SuperSpeed 10
Non-Volatile
A type of memory where data cannot be stored without power being supplied.
Volatile
Retaining data even if there is a break in the power supply
