What items would you have regard to before carrying an inspection?
When inspecting properties for pm purposes I’ve had regard to RICS surveying safely 2011. Such as where I inspected Sutton in Ashfield shopping centre in Nottingham I had regard to a number of matters before going to site. Including planning my journey and taking a mobile phone for check in calling. I also had regard to any possible hazards or risks I may encounter before going on site. I also took an inspection pro-forma and camera to document my inspection.
What would you take into account if you were inspecting a vacant property?
Whilst inspection a vacant retail shop in Quadrant Arcade i Paid particular attention to maintaining security. I also ensured our insurance were aware. i was also checking for any emerging issues such as damp that may have occurred since the last inspection that need to be rectify to make it lettable.
