Boatowners Outboard Motor & Boat Insurance *
> Written to cover the physical damage exposure of boats
Commonly provided under Open Peril inland marine floaters
Typically covers motors, motor boats, accessories, and trailers
When these policies are written, it is customary for the insured to have liability coverage under a homeowners policy or separate liability policy
Boat Owner/ Watercraft Package Policy *
> Provides liability & physical damage coverage (much like an auto policy) by combining property, liability, and medical payments insurance
Coverage typically on an Open Peril basis
Typically used to insure boats under a specific length or under a maximum $$$ value
MOBILE HOMES **
> These generally come in single or 2-Section units
Mobile homes are designed w/ an axle so wheels could be added to allow the building to be towed to its location
Excluded are travel trailers, motor homes, and modular housing
Coverage by endt to HO Policy or under a separate policy form
COVERAGE: SECTION I **
> Coverage Sec A: Building
- Mobile home, attached structures, and permanently installed items
Coverage Sec B: Other Structures - similar to HO Policy
Coverage Sec C: Personal Property - 40% of Cvrg A
Coverage Sec D: Loss of Use - 20% of Cvrg A
UNIQUE MOBILE HOME CVRGS **
> Pair or set clause - expanded to cover panels
REMOVAL COVERAGE - $500 for reasonable expenses for moving mobile home when threatened by a covered peril
- COVERED ONLY WHEN SET UP, NOT IN TRANSPORT
Ordinance or Law - additional coverage does not apply
Transportation/ Permission to move endt (TRANSPORTATION TRIP ENDT)
- coverage for 30 days for collision, upset, stranding, or sinking while being moved to a new location
