It is a consumer that also produces energy

From an end-customer perpective with high own consumption PV is already in the money, from a producer perspective subsidies are still needed

Dependency on subsides reducing by further cost reductions, increasing the own comsumption

the prices in Germany are high and also the costs in comparision to Italy but the availability of commercial power storage for households will further improve profitability of rooftop solutions - technologies are cheaper every year
